Nathan Szep is an associate in the firm and is licensed to practice in both state and federal court in Ohio. Mr. Szep is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School and The Ohio State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy.

Mr. Szep’s practice focuses on litigation in employment law, criminal law, domestic relations law, personal injury law, and the needs of small businesses. Mr. Szep has lectured before the West Shore Bar Association and the Cuyahoga Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He frequently appears in Cleveland, Berea, Lakewood, Parma, Rocky River, and Avon Lake Municipal Courts as well as in the Lorain and Cuyahoga County Courts of Common Pleas.

Mr. Szep resides with his wife and their two sons in Lakewood. He is a parishioner at St. Luke the Evangelist Church, where he serves on the Parish Council.

Mr. Szep received his law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, where he obtained a concentration in Employment and Labor Law. He also received the Ohio State Bar Association’s Employment and Labor Law award in 2009 following his studies at Cleveland-Marshall.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Szep worked for the National Labor Relations Board, the Communications Workers of America and the Cuyahoga County Public Defender’s Office. He is presently a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the West Shore Bar Association.
